We are excited to present the first-ever Jump Smash Badminton Tournament, exclusively designed for Arizona's badminton community!

It's an ideal tournament for amateur and aspiring players across Arizona to compete, learn, and enjoy the game in a friendly yet competitive environment.

Event Details:

Date and Time: Sunday May 5th & 12th, 2024, from 10 AM to 4 PM

  • May 5th - Men's Singles, Women's Singles, and Mixed Doubles
    • Deadline for Application May 1st
  • May 12th - Men's Doubles, Women's Doubles
    • Deadline for Application May 8th

Please note that the entry fee is per player for the number events you wish to participate in.

Tournament Rules and Format:

  • Style: Single Elimination Matches
  • Bracket to be announced 2 days before event
  • Division Semi-Final and Finals: Best of 3 games to 21 points.
  • Standard BWF rules apply.

  • Fair Play and Participation Guidelines:

    • Adjustments by Tournament Director/Referee: To ensure fairness, the Tournament Director/Referee reserves the right to adjust or deny entry to a player if their play level is not suitable for the chosen event. In such cases, the entry fee will be refunded.
    • Event Cancellations and Combinations: Events with low entries may be combined with others or canceled.
    • Multiple Event Participation: Players are welcome to enter multiple events with no limitations. However, the registration fee applies for each event entered.
    • Default Rule: Players must be present when their match is called. A default may be issued if a player is not present within ten (10) minutes of the call.
    • Shuttlecock Usage: Each match will be provided up to 2 shuttles except for division semi-final and finals.

  • Do I need to bring my own equipment? Participants are required to bring their own rackets.
